Houston is one of the best cities in the country to build a real business. The infrastructure is real. The industries are real. The money moves. Domonique Luchin has spent years building at the intersection of those industries — oil and gas, real estate, construction, and field services — and is now layering AI automation and systems infrastructure on top of every operating lane he runs.
This is a look at what he is currently building and why it is designed the way it is.
Most operators spread thin across multiple businesses end up with a collection of half-built things. Domonique Luchin's approach is different. Every venture runs on the same internal infrastructure — the same AI communication layer, the same data and automation stack, the same operational logic.
That shared infrastructure is called the Load Bearing Empire. The businesses it powers are:
Houston is not an accident. Domonique Luchin grew up connected to the industries that define this city. His engineering background is in oil and gas infrastructure — Permian Basin pipelines, Gulf Coast fabrication. His real estate work covers the fastest-growing counties in the state. His field service businesses operate in a market with dense residential and commercial inventory.
Houston also has no state income tax, low regulatory friction for new business formation, and a construction and services economy that rewards operators who can move quickly and build reliable systems.
"Based in Houston, I build from the ground up with an engineer's eye and an operator's bias toward structure, follow-through, and real execution."
What separates Luchin's operating model from a standard multi-business setup is the automation layer underneath everything. Across all seven ventures, he has deployed AI agents handling inbound calls, outbound outreach, lead qualification, bid response, dispute processing, and follow-up sequences.
The communication infrastructure runs on a self-managed Asterisk PBX server in Dallas, connected to a VoIP.ms SIP trunk and six dedicated phone numbers — one per business. VAPI AI agents sit on top of that stack and handle conversations autonomously.
The data layer runs on Supabase with Edge Functions and pg_cron jobs that scrape foreclosure data, delinquent tax records, code violations, and 311 complaints across 14 Texas counties every night — feeding the real estate pipeline with fresh leads without anyone pulling a report.
Domonique Luchin is currently finalizing the telecom infrastructure, completing A2P 10DLC SMS campaign registration, and advancing toward FE Civil certification and PE licensure. The longer arc includes brownfield redevelopment in Houston's near Northside and Third Ward neighborhoods, expansion of the O&G network through Petroleum Noir, and continued buildout of the automation layer across all operating lanes.
He is not building to sell. He is building to operate — and to hand down.
